Little Cures

In 2021, Martha curated the Little Cures online exhibition, commissioned by the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust in Stratford Upon Avon.

The exhibition can be viewed here.

Working with 5 young artists, each with strongly contrasting styles, Martha worked alongside the Trust’s Creative Producer, Collections teams and photographer James Dobson to capture interventions of contemporary arts inside the 16th century building Halls Croft.

Named after its original occupant John Hall, a physician and son in law of Shakespeare, this building provided a texturally and historically rich setting in which to explore the ancient concept of ‘melancholy’ through a contemporary lens.

All photography by James Dobson and copyright to the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust. All artworks are for sale: access the price list here.
